Time based expiration / Entry Order Expiration

The Time based expiration can only be added when creating an Entry Order. It's purpose is to automatically cancel your Entry Order (and position) after a specified period of time has elapsed. The time is calculated from when you submit your Entry Order.

This can be useful when trading a market that is moving quickly: if your entry has not filled within a period of time, and you believe it is unlikely to fill.

The Time based expiration can be used with all Entry Order types: Market, Limit, Stop Order, Trailing Stop and Ladder. And with long or short positions. Where your Entry includes multiple orders (e.g. a Ladder Order), all related Entry Orders will be cancelled when the Expiry time has elapsed.

How to Set the Entry Order Expiration

Create your Entry Order as usual
Open the Smart Orders
Switch on Entry Order Expiration
Choose whether you wish to specify Minutes, Hours or Days
To specify the amount of time (marked in blue above) either:

select the number in the box and overtype it. To select the number either click with a mouse, or use Shift + arrow key
move the slider on the right

1 to 60 minutes
1 to 24 hours
1 to 30 days

| A Paper Trading Account is associated with a specific exchange, in the same way as a Live Trading Account. You can create multiple paper trading accounts, for the same or different exchanges.

Each of your API keys has been allocated a set of 20 Altrady IP addresses. Altrady will only use those 20 IP addresses when sending API requests to the exchange for the specific API key. This means that no third party can use your API key to trade on the exchange, since Altrady owns the IP addresses.

You can find the IP addresses allocated to each of your API keys by Editing your Trading account on the page: Settings>Exchange API Keys

Here you can see the list of allocated IP addresses for this API key. If you can't see IP addresses on your API keys, you can upgrade to the latest version of the app here or under Settings>Check for Updates. This will download the latest major version using a browser, ready for installation.

Signal Bot: Quick Start Guide

This guide includes suggested settings for trader who are using the Signal Bot with CBS signals for the first time. Over time, we recommend that you adjust your settings to choose your own trading style.

Unlike Copy Trading, using a Signal Bot is not a completely hands-off process. While the average win rate for CBS signals is very high (90-97% on average) it is not 100%. Every trader will need to decide what to do when a bot position does not return to profit in a reasonable amount of time. Alternatives are:

manually intervene (add more DCAs. See CryptoTradingDev's YouTube channel for videos on how to do this.)
wait, possibly for a very long time
use a Stop Loss. There is no "perfect" stop loss value. We offer a suggestion here, but the market will change over time and the trader's tolerance of risk is also very important when choosing a value for SL.
manually intervene in most cases, and use a Stop Loss to catch markets with big dumps due to coin delistings, for example.

Altrady's Grid Bot Analytics provides a range of PnL and other analytical data for each session for each individual grid bot. Grid Bot Analytics is available from V4.0, which can be accessed here or download and install the latest version of the app under Settings>Check for Updates.

To access the Analytics, select the grid bot from the Bots page, and choose the Analytics tab.

Grid bot analytics are divided into Sessions. Every time the grid bot settings are changed and saved, a new session is created. This allows for tracking the performance of different settings over time.
