How to Connect Your HitBTC Exchange Account with Altrady
To get started with a seamless trading experience on Altrady, you need to connect your cryptocurrency exchange with our platform. In this guide, we have illustrated 12 easy steps to help you connect your 'HitBTC' exchange account with Altrady via API.
Founded in 2013, HitBTC is one of the oldest cryptocurrency exchanges in existence that offers more than 800 trading pairs 💡
Step-1: Enter HitBTC URL in your browser and log in to your account.
Step-2: Click on the Settings icon from the top-right corner of the navigation bar and switch to the API keys tab.
Step-3: Hit the New API Key button to create a new API key.
Step-4: If you skipped adding the 2FA during the sign-up process, then a pop up would appear notifying you to enable 2FA before you create API keys. Hit the Secure your account button to set up the 2FA and repeat Step-2 and Step-3.
Step-5: If you have already configured 2FA on your HitBTC account, then a different pop-up window will appear on the screen displaying your API key and Secret key. Copy these two codes, hit the I Understand button, and visit Altrady website.
Step-6: Next you will need to edit the permissions on your HitBTC API key to allow Altrady to use it to trade on your account.
Step-7: Login to your Altrady account and click on the Settings icon appearing on the left-hand side of the interface.
Select the Exchange account API Keys option from the left sidebar.
Click +Add API key.
Step-8. A new modal window will appear on your screen for creating the API Key.
Select HitBTC from the exchange dropdown menu.
Give your API key a label.
Enter your HitBTC API key and Secret key generated at Step-5.
Click Save.
Step-9: Click on the Add button.
Step-10: You have successfully connected your HitBTC exchange account with Altrady. For this guide, we have labeled HitBTC API as "Altrady". You can edit the details anytime by selecting the edit icon.
If your balances haven't yet updated from the exchange, find out how to quickly update them:
If you still can't see your HitBTC balance, check that the funds are in your Trading Account. Altrady cannot see the balances in any other accounts on HitBTC.
