How to Connect Your HitBTC Exchange Account with Altrady
Step-1:
- Enter HitBTC URL in your browser and log in to your account.
Step-2:
- Click on the Settings icon from the top-right corner of the navigation bar and switch to the API keys tab.
Step-3:
- Hit the New API Key button to create a new API key.
Step-4:
- If you skipped adding the 2FA during the sign-up process, then a pop up would appear notifying you to enable 2FA before you create API keys. Hit the Secure your account button to set up the 2FA and repeat Step-2 and Step-3.
Step-5:
- If you have already configured 2FA on your HitBTC account, then a different pop-up window will appear on the screen displaying your API key and Secret key:
Copy these two codes
Hit the I Understand button
Then visit Altrady website.
Step-6:
In Altrady
Open "Exchange account API keys" page
Click on "Add Api Key"
Select "Hitbtc" in the exchange drop down menu
Paste the API and secret key's
Step-7:
- Next you will need to edit the permissions on your HitBTC API key to allow Altrady to use it to trade on your account.
- You can optionally add the IP whitelist now if you want to by clicking the "Edit" button besides "IP whitelist".
In this guide we will add it after creating the API key.
- Click on** "save".**
Step-8:
- An authentication request will appear, you will need to add the 2fa code to it and click "confirm"
Step-9.
- Your API key is created, you might have to confirm some permissions after you get the email.
Step-10.
Optional: For added security, you can add the IP whitelist at any time:
Click on "Add IP whitelist" marked in the image above
Go back to Altrady and click "copy", as shown in the image below, to copy the IP whitelist to your clipboard.
Go back to the exchange and paste the copied whitelist in the IP whitelist field and click "add".
The option to apply the whitelist to all API keys shoudl only be used if your API keys in HitBTC are all for the same Trading Account in Altrady (i.e. first key plus extra keys).
Click "save"
Step-11:
- Go back to Altrady and click "save".
If this is a new key, you will also need tio click "add" to finish the setup.
Step-12:
- You have successfully connected your HitBTC exchange account with Altrady.
If your balances haven't yet updated from the exchange, find out how to quickly update them:
If you still can't see your HitBTC balance, check that the funds are in your Trading Account. Altrady cannot see the balances in any other accounts on HitBTC.
