Altrady's Market Explorer

Introduction


The Market Explorer tab, is a way in which you are able to browser and explore trading opportunities, learn more about the coins you are interested in buying and at what price. If there is a certain coin you are interested in purchasing, the market explorer tab is where you are able to find this information.

Locating Market Explorer


In order to locate the Market Explorer tab:


Overview


  1. From the left side menu, select Market Explorer > Overview

On the left-hand side of the Trading Terminal, hover over the side bar, and select Market Explorer.


  1. The Market Explorer will be automatically opened on the Overview tab, as highlighted in the image above.



The Overview landing page includes general market analytics at the top




  1. Once a coin or token is selected, details for that coin are shown (e.g. SOL as shown here).

On the right hand side of the page is information from your portfolio such as your current holdings for the selected coin:


In addition, there is a link that redirects to portfolio holdings for viewing further details.

Under the Trade Now dropdown is a list of markets where the coin can be traded. Each of these is an active link to the Trading Terminal.




Click Trade Now to view a list of markets where this coin can be traded. Each is an active link to the trading Terminal.

The Holdings Breakdown drop-down list shows a each of your holdings of the selected coin, per account


Coin Overview 

Price Chart

Scroll down to the "Price chart" section to see more information and Monthly returns for the last 5 years, by month, including an overall average (mean) and median by month. Drag the date bar below to zoom in or out by date.




Once a coin has been selected, the page will show all information regarding that particular coin (in the above example, the coin is SOL):


  1. Solana Price - Current Average Price, the price compared to the previous day, as well as the price within a year range.
  2. Rank by market cap.
  3. My Holdings - The breakdown of the coins held, and on which exchange those coins are held. Click Holdings Breakdown to see your own holdings.
  4. BTC Performance: coin performance relative to USD, BTC and ETH over the last 7 days to 1 year.
  5. Price Chart: choose a time period at the top. Or use the sliders at the bottom to specify the start and end times to focus in on.
  6. Coin Info: a capsule summary of the main coin metrics
  7. Coin Monthly Returns: compares the coin price at the start of the month with the end of the month. Useful for seeing patterns for specific times of the year and across years.
  8. Coin Price Live Data and 24 hour information
  9. What Is "coin": A summary of the coin's history and use case.


If you select "Exchange", as shown in the image above, it will show you all the exchanges where you are able to trade SOL

News: note that News is not currently available

The "Arbitrage" tab compares the current price per exchange for pairs with the most popular quote currencies


Market Cap Ranking


Projects within this section are ranked according by market capitalization.


  1. Select Market Explorer > Market Cap Rank



  1. The page will open to the Market Cape Ranking section of the Market Explorer, listing all coins and tokens sorted by Market Cap.



Categories


Projects are segmented into categories, depending on what ecosystem they are in.


  1. Select Market Explorer > Categories.


  1. The page will open to the Categories section of the Market Explorer. Click on a column heading to sort (ascending or descending).




Gainers


Top gainers with more than USD 100,000 total volume over the last 24 hours or 7 days.


  1. Select Market Explorer > Gainers.


  1. The page will open to the Gainers section of the Market Explorer. Choose the timeframe (24 hours or 7 days) from the dropdown on the right hand side.



Losers


Top Losers with more than USD 100,000 total volume over the last 24 hours or 7 days.


  1. Select Market Explorer > Losers


  1. The page will open to the Losers section of the Market Explorer. Choose the timeframe (24 hours or 7 days) from the dropdown on the right hand side.
