How to Use Altrady Hotkeys (Desktop Application)
Altrady hotkeys are an excellent way to improve your trading platform user experience. They save time, increase efficiency and most of all allow for the most optimal trade executions. On Altrady, hotkeys will help you trade faster and navigate markets at lightning speed.
A hotkey or keyboard shortcut is a key or a combination of keys on a computer keyboard that, when pressed at one time, performs a task more quickly than by using a mouse or other input device.

Let’s begin.
Step -1: To view the hotkeys list, all you need to do is click on the Menu icon (horizontal three dots) located at the top-right corner of the interface and select the Hotkeys option from the drop-down.
Users can also press the CTRL+H keys to open the hotkeys list.
Once you click on the Hotkeys option or press the CTRL+H keys, the hotkeys list will appear on the screen, as shown below:
1. Add a new chart- To add a new chart, simply press the CTRL+T keys and select the desired exchange and market from the market selector.
Once you select the desired exchange and market, the new market screen will pop up, as shown below:
2. Close the current chart- To close the current chart, all you need to do is press the CTRL+W keys.
3. Change current market- To change the current market, simply press the CTRL+O keys and select the desired exchange and market from the market selector.
Once you select the desired exchange and market, the current market screen will display the selected exchange and market, as shown below:
4. Toggle market in watchlist- To add/remove a market to/from the watchlist, simply press CTRL+SHIFT+F keys.
Once you press the CTRL+SHIFT+F keys, the selected market will be added/removed to/from the watchlist, as shown below:
1. Open a new market tab- To open a new market tab, all you need to do is press the CTRL+T keys and choose the desired exchange and market from the market selector.
Once you select the desired exchange and market, the new market screen will pop up, as shown below:
2. Close the current market tab- To close the current market tab, simply press the CTRL+W keys.
3. Replace the exchange/market of the current tab- To change the exchange/market of the current tab, press the CTRL+O keys and select the desired exchange and market from the market selector.
Once you select the desired exchange and market, the current market screen will display the selected exchange and market, as shown below:
4. Change market tabs- To change the market tabs, simply press the CTRL+Right Arrow keys to view the tabs on the right-hand side of the currently selected tab or the CTRL+Left Arrow keys to view the tabs on the left-hand side of the currently selected tab.
Pressing the CTRL+Right/Left Arrow keys lets you navigate to other market tabs. The chart is also updated depending on the currently selected market tab.
5. Change the market of the current tab- To replace the market of the current tab, all you need to do is press the CTRL+Up/ Down Arrow keys.
Pressing CTRL+Up/Down Arrow keys on the interface lets you view the different markets within the currently selected cryptocurrency exchange.
Using trading hotkeys is easy, but there is a precondition that must be fulfilled:
Chart widget is active
1. Initiate a buy order- To initiate a buy order, all you need to do is select the chart widget and press SHIFT+B keys.
Once you press the SHIFT+B keys, the corresponding buy handle bar will be shown in the chart. Drag the buy handle bar up or down to set the order at the desired price.
2. Initiate a sell order- To initiate a sell order, all you need to do is select the chart widget and press the SHIFT+S keys.
Once you press the SHIFT+S keys, the corresponding sell handle bar will be shown in the chart. Drag the sell handle bar up or down to set the order at the desired price.
3. Initiate a new alert- For initiating a new alert, all you need to do is select the chart widget and press the SHIFT+A keys.
A handle bar will be created and shown with the last price of the selected market. Drag the handle bar up/down to set the alert at the desired price.
4. Toggle show closed orders- To toggle show closed orders, all you need to do is click on the Settings option in the chart widget’s toolbar and press the SHIFT+P keys.
Pressing the SHIFT+P keys will turn off/on the Show closed orders setting in the chart settings, as shown below:

C. Trading Hotkeys
