How to Connect Your GateIO Exchange Account with Altrady
Step-1:
- Login to your GateIO account.
- Navigate to your dashboard bar,
- Click on the Settings,
- and select API Management.
Alternatively, you can click on profile icon at the top-right corner and select API Management from the drop down menu.
Step-2:
- Then click Create API key.
Step-3:
- Give your API key a label. Here we have assigned the name - test.
- Complete the details so that they match our example below.
- Spot/Margin should have read/write permission.
- Wallet" should have Read only permission.
- And leave the IP permissions field blank for now.
- Then click Submit.
Step-4:
- Confirm the risk information and click Accept.
- Enter your GateIO Funding Password, and your Authentication code (TOTP) to complete the security verification process for creating API key.
- Then click Confirm.
Step-5:
- GateIO will redirect you to a new page where you will be provided with your API key as well as a Secret key. Now, copy these two codes and visit Altrady website.
Step-6:
- If you haven't already done so, login to your Altrady account and click on the Exchange accounts icon appearing in the left hand side of the interface.
- Then choose Add api key.
- Select the exchange and give it a label.
- Copy the keys from Step 5 into the appropriate fields.
Step-7.
Optional: If you want to add the Altrady IP whitelist, follow these steps. Otherwise skip to Step-8.
Go back to Gate.IO website and click Return to API list.
Click on Detail
Go back to Altrady and copy the IP whitelist and copy it into the IP permissions field in the exchange.
Step-8
- In Altrady click on Save
Step-9
- You have successfully connected your GateIO exchange account with Altrady. You can edit the details anytime by selecting the edit icon.
In Altrady, never delete your API key altogether, since all of your trade, order, position and portfolio history will be lost. Instead, edit the key and secret to replace them.
